Chocolate chip cookies :)

Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter,
1 1/4 cup soft brown sugar,
3/4 cup white sugar,
1-2 tsp vanilla,
2 eggs,
1 tsp baking soda,
2 tsp warm water,
3 cups plain flour,
1 level tbsp cornflour,
100g chocolate chips (approx 1 packet/1 cup)
1/3 cup rolled oats, (optional)

Method: (Pre-heat 180oC oven)
In a bowl cream the butter and sugars. Ad the vanilla. When incorporated, add one egg, beat for about 1 minute. Then add the other egg and beat for another minute. Then in a small container or tiny bowl mix together the baking soda and water and pour into main mixture. Then add the flour. When all the flour is incorporated, add the chocolate chips and optionally the oats.
Line a baking tray and scoop tbsp amounts of dough (or use an ice cream scoop) roll into balls and put on the tray about 2 inches apart.
Bake for around 15 minutes until golden and the sides are firm but when lightly pressed the centre still squishes down. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from tray.

Enjoyyyy :D
